CGL CELEBRATES ITS 13TH ANNIVERSARY

OUR STORY

The Capital Girls League is the largest girl’s football league and community in Greater London. The CGL is 100% powered by volunteer hours and our robust and dedicated committee serve a population of over 1800 registered girls. The CGL are a tri-county girl’s league launched as a joint venture between Middlesex FA, London FA & Amateur FA to support and nurture the growth of the girl’s game. This season marks the 13th Anniversary of providing development and competitive football.

OUR MISSION

Our core mission is to administer a grassroots community league which nurtures and emboldens the next generation of female footballers. We focus on creating opportunities, inspiring change & raising standards to deliver a league in which our girls thrive as players and individuals.

As guardians of this league, we work to champion this interconnected community and harness grassroots football as a force for change and modernisation. In pursuit of this goal, we are devoted to ensuring football is accessible and affordable across Greater London and we hero players over profits at every turn.
