Season 2023/2024
ABOUT US We are the largest girls football league and community in Greater London and we are 100% powered by volunteer hours. The Capital Girls League was established in 2011 as a tri-county league by Middlesex FA, London FA & Amateur FA to offer a world class league for the girls of London. Our robust and dedicated committee now serve a population of over 1800 girls. This season marks the 13th Anniversary of providing development and competitive football.
OUR MISSION Our core mission is to administer a grassroots community league which nurtures and emboldens the next generation of female footballers. We focus on creating opportunities, inspiring change & raising standards to deliver a league in which our girls thrive as players and individuals.
CGL LEAGUE 2024/2025 The League will be continuing with the "Central Venue" for the age groups U7 - U9. The venues will also continue to be Chase Lodge in Barnet and Rectory Park in Northolt on Saturdays. For the 2024/25 season we are pleased to announce a new central venue which is to be located in the south of the Middlesex Boundaries, details of the venue will be announced at our Annual General Meeting. Please note that we reserve the right to add additional central venues as needed.
The older age groups U10 - U18 in the league will run through a Home & Away format with U10 & U11 being non-competitive. All age groups provided will be dependent on demand. All games are played on Saturdays between 9:30am and 1:30pm.
